Like the Spanish, English and Americans before them, China is working its 30-year plan* to rule the waves and the world’s markets to fully gain an economic empire upon which the sun will never set. It is interesting that China considers Christianity to be one of its major stumbling blocks along the road to realizing world dominance of global supply and demand.
Appearing to its global trading and economic partners as being tolerant and understanding of its own religious minorities is critical to cement its future with nations that have religious majority populations. To appear as being such while if fact destroying churches, shrines and temples within its borders is a huge challenge. With that in mind, China’s Communist Party is in stage with a five-year plan to revamp and rewrite the wording and themes of the Bible to be “Party and Trading Partner” user-friendly to help foster the nation’s reputation as being “tolerant of their religious populations”.
Finding justification of faith in Jesus Christ to be too restrictive, their idea of “Chinese Christianity” would be more universalist and focused on justification by love of doing good works.
